I’ve encountered this problem several times.  Then I looked it up in forums and people have been saying clearing your cache or disabling google gears. That didn’t work for me.

Finally, the best solution I have so far is just changing the unsecure protocol: http: to a secure protocol: https.

e.g.

http://docs.google.com   ——> infinite loop, refreshing over and over

https://docs.google.com  —–> no infinite loop

Not sure what the issue is, but may be a JS script issue.
